My Experience Reading the Book:
This novel talks about many of the struggles a teen might face in high school; depression, loneliness, low self esteem, etc. It's hilarious but it touches on serious topics. It really makes you value things in life, especially life itself.
There's many things I learnt from reading this book but the most important thing is that it always gets better. It doesn't matter how hopeless every seems, how tired you are, or how much you just want the pain to disappear, things will get better.
A perfect way to describe one of the main messages of the book is :
" Be strong because things will get better. It may be stormy now but it never rains forever"
