While you're reading this book keep two things in mind: paper towns and paper people.
Quentin and Margo used to be close but they grew up and grew apart. Margo has always been like a free spirit, she does what she wants whenever she want to. So in natural Margo fashion, she just shows up at Q's house unannounced in the middle of the night. She wants to go on an adventure at 1 in the morning and for some reason Q agrees. They go around Orlando in his mom's minivan and do the craziest and most hilarious things.
The next day, Margo is gone. She is off somewhere trying to get away from what she considers a "paper town" and its "paper people"
The rest of the book is the journey to find Margo. For Q it become more than a journey to find Margo, it became a journey to understand her and for Q to learn more about himself and what he wanted to his life to be.

My Experience Reading the Book
The book, I feel is like a mystery book. But it's not a mystery to find something, it's journey to find out who Margo really is and who Q really is.
I personally loved the book. I couldn't stop reading, I was actually reading in the middle of class (#rebel) . I was so intrigued with the story, there a new twist or new clue or someone finds out something new about themselves.
You can really connect with the characters and you learn life lessons without even realizing it.
